What’s the Process?
1. Briefly visit with us over the phone to see if we are a match for doing business together
2. Choose to either come into the office for a free consultation or have your free consultation using the webinar (please see below the difference between the two)
3. Read the article sent to you prior to the consultation
4. If you are coming into the office or meeting with us in a webinar please bring with you or fax/scan prior to the webinar meeting the required list of supporting documentation that we will send to you.
5. Review your unique needs wants and desires by filling out or needs analysis form
6. We will then craft a tailor made loan designed uniquely for your situation
7. Because we customize our loans for each individual’s needs, goals, dreams and desires we have separated out our processes depending upon which general loan needs will work best for you. The general areas are Purchasing a home, Rate and term refinance to improve current interest rate, Refinance to consolidate debt or Refinance to reposition idle home equity into wealth accumulation tax favored environments
8. The process for each is a little different from here so we will outline each one for you.
a. Purchasing a home
i.We will meet either in person or via the webinar to get you pre approved for your home purchase so that you can comfortably and confidently make an offer on a home of your choice knowing that you will have a pre approval letter to submit with the offer
ii.Once you submit and have your offer accepted we will need to meet again to finalize the loan numbers based on the contract you entered into with the sellers.
iii.After the first appointment we will order the appraisal and begin your loan processing at this time you will need to deposit a check for the appraisal which will be held in the file until your loan closes.
b. Rate and term refinance to improve current interest rate or Refinance to consolidate debt
i.Once a mortgage plan of action has been established which is typically after the first appointment we will order the appraisal It is your responsibility to pay the appraiser directly when he or she comes to your home.
ii.You will have the option to lock in your interest rate at the time of the appointment or if you choose to wait or float your interest rate to see if they improve you can choose to do that as well.
c. Refinance to reposition idle home equity into wealth accumulation tax favored environments
i.If effective equity repositioning strategies are needed after our initial consultation we will have you meet with one of our preferred financial advisors unless of course you already have a financial advisor that you are comfortable working with.
ii.While you are meeting with the advisor we will begin the processing of your loan by order the appraisal. It is your responsibility to pay the appraiser directly when he or she comes to your home.
iii.We will have a second meeting to review the numbers from underwriting for the loan as well as the numbers from your financial advisor and then execute the mortgage and the financial plan so that they match with your long and short term financial goals
9.In all cases we will do an Annual mortgage review of your loan program to make sure that your mortgage is being used as a tool to optimize your tailor made goals, dreams and desires.

What’s a webinar?
1. Some people wonder what a webinar is and how complicated it would be to use this service. It’s actually really quite easy. All you do is double click on this address http://connect.acrobat.com/fffs and your computer will take you to the secure online meeting room. Your mortgage planner will then call you on the phone and while you are on the phone you’ll be able to see everything on your computer screen that you would normally see right in our own offices. You’ll be able to compare different loan products their pros and cons and discuss with your planner which loan would work best for you.
2. We’ve done this with you in mind because we know how busy life can get it’s simple, easy and everything can be done right online from the convenience of your computer.
3. To make this system work you’ll need a high speed internet connection.
In Office Consultation Process
1. Call our office at 801-545-8870 and let Teri know you are calling for loan information
2. We will then visit with you briefly over the phone to make sure we are a potential match for doing business
3. We will then schedule a time that works for our calendars to visit about your loan options.
4.We will then email you an agenda, directions and list of documents to bring with you to the appointment.
5.You will then receive in the mail a gift certificate for a free credit report.

5. How to prepare for your webinar
a. Scan or email the items requested to us 24 hours prior to your appointment.
b. Read the Mortgage Handbook prior to the webinar located on the website
